Site work for a water / sewer project in Grand Tower, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids are invited upon the several items and quantities of work as follows:Grantee will receive $1,500,000.00 in Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") Public Infrastructure grant funds to construct approximately 14,730 LF of 6' water main, 860 LF of 8" water main and all related appurtenances, throughout most all of the corporate limits of the City of Grand Tower in Jackson County. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of City Grand Tower, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The City of Grand Tower reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bidder shall note the requirements to complete bid for all for the Alternate Bids included with the Bid Form. Bid will be awarded based on Base Bid AND all accepted Alternate Bids. Bids may be held by the City of Grand Tower for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
