The City of Garden City is soliciting Requests for Proposals from qualified grounds maintenance contractors to provide property maintenance services on public and private property, pursuant to the City of Garden City Code of Ordinances._Services will occur on an "as needed" basis from April 1st, 2025, through December 31st, 2025, and must be completed within three (3) days of notification. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary tools, commercial and residential equipment, and manpower to complete a number of property maintenance related tasks during the forced maintenance of the properties that will improve the aesthetics of the community, including, but not limited to: _ Mow lawns in order to eliminate tall grass/weed nuisances; _ Edge and trim along curb-backs, sidewalks, walkways, driveways, flower gardens/landscape areas, foundations, porches/patios, retaining walls and other property features where a lawn mower cannot provide a uniform cut; _ Bag/collect all loose grass clippings, including clippings deposited in the street and/or on sidewalks, driveway, or walkways; _ Remove debris from the site, including, but not limited to: limbs/branches, leaves, brush and trash; Interested persons may complete an application in the Neighborhood & Development Service office during normal business hours or submit an application via e-mail at code.enforcement@gardencityks.us.
