Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in New Lenox, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:The work shall consist of several different sections of pavement improvements.Including a new parking lot area, rehabilitation of existing lot and grind and resurfacing the existing drive.Improvements will include installation of storm sewer and storm water detention. Contractor will be responsible for minor restoration around the parking lot, and black dirt placement on the detention pond area. Site lighting improvements will be provided by JPD contractor. Work will need to coordinated with parking lot improvements.Construction sequencing and completion dates will be critical for the completion of the project. Contractor will be required to hire third party testing agency for the parking testing. BIDREVIEW MEETING: It may be necessary to conduct bid review meetings with the contractor prior to bid recommendation. Contractors should be available March 25 - 27, 2025 for bid review meetings. Awards will begiven based on the lowest responsible bid according to the current established bid policy of the commissioners of the Joliet Park District. The Joliet Park District Board of Commissioners retains the right to waive any irregularities and reject any or all bids according to the District's bid policy Question Deadline 03/19/2025 at 4:00 PM CT
