Title: GSD-BID-25-01 Job Order Contracts (JOC-045, JOC-046, JOC-047, JOC-048, JOC-049, JOC-050) The San Joaquin County General Services Department has just released a BID titled "GSD-BID-25-01 Job Order Contracts (JOC-045, JOC-046, JOC-047, JOC-048, JOC-049, JOC-050)". Job Order Contracting (JOC) is an indefinite quantity construction delivery method that enables the County to complete multiple small to medium-sized projects through a single, competitively bid contract. In general, projects will consist of repair, remodeling, or other repetitive work; and the Contractors awarded a JOC Contract will have the opportunity to be tasked with multiple individual projects at different locations throughout the County. Contractors competitively bid an adjustment factor to be applied to a catalogue of construction tasks with pre-set unit prices. The solicitation consists of up to six (6) separate JOC Contracts for contractors holding a State of California B-General Building Contractor License at the time of Bid Opening. Each JOC Contract may have the opportunity for a minimum of $50,000 and a maximum of $6,000,000 worth of work; and the JOC Contract term is one (1) year. A bidder may be awarded at most one (1) JOC Contract from this solicitation. Bid Contact Joshua H Zavala (209) 953-7046 jhernandezzavala@sjgov.org 4000 W. Eight Mile Road Stockton, CA 95209 Special Notice to Subcontractors and Subtrades: As noted above, this is a bid opportunity for prime contractors. However, subcontractors and subtrades are typically engaged by the prime JOC contractors for individual Job Orders that are issued under these master JOC Contracts. Therefore, subcontractors and subtrades are highly encouraged to participate during this bid opportunity and engage with prospective bidders as they develop their bid submittals. Furthermore, the County's JOC Program and associated JOC Contracts will highly encourage the utilization of subcontractors, subtrades, suppliers, equipment, materials, etc. from San Joaquin County. At the cost to the Contractor, prints of the contract documents may also be purchased through ARC Document Solutions-Stockton (formerly Stockton Blueprint) at online, or at the ARC Document Solutions-Stockton offices at 440 North El Dorado Street, Stockton, CA 95202, (209) 464-8724. It is the Contractor's responsibility to obtain the contract documents through online. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids; and further reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids. If you have any questions or problems obtaining the contract documents, please contact Joshua Hernandez Zavala, General Services Department-Capital Projects at (209) 953-7046 or jhzavala@sjgov.org (preferred). *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
