Options: Base Bid Item Number: 1 Quantity: 39,800 Unit: Sq. Yds Description: Asphalt Seal Coat (Double Application - Barlow Two Taverns Road Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $ 870.00 per calendar day. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The scope of work for this project involves the double application of Asphalt Seal Coat on Barlow Two Taverns Road containing #8 Stone. Work shall include all labor, materials, equipment, and traffic control incidental to all seal coating operations. All seal coating operations shall be in accordance with the most updated PennDOT Publication 408 Standards. Traffic control shall be in accordance with PennDOT Publication 213, as most recently revised.
