Site work for a water / sewer project in Straban Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The location of the work is along Cumberland Township Authority's existing sanitary-sewer easement that parallels Willoughby Run south of SR-30 (approximately 2 miles west of central Gettysburg) in Cumberland Township, Adams County, PA. Work generally consists of the following; provide all materials, equipment, and labor to place a French Mattress and associated culvert crossings over approximately 1,400 square yards of the existing easement access. No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The Bid Security shall be made payable to the Cumberland Township Authority, Adams County, Pennsylvania. Bids may be held by the OWNER for up to 60 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. The contract for work under this Bid will obligate the Contractor, and any Subcontractors, not to discriminate in employment practices and to comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and any other such Federal and State requirements presented in bid documents. The Owner reserves the right, at its option, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors or omissions in any or all Bid Proposals, as the Owner may deem to be in its best interest.
