Site work and paving for a road / highway in Straban Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The scope of work is for a road project on Crooked Creek Road. All work must be performed in accordance with PennDot Publication 408 Standard Specifications, and prevailing wages must be included in all bids. Instructions to bidders include that all bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to Franklin Township, as a proposal guarantee. Sealed bids must be clearly marked with "Road Project for Crooked Creek Road" on the outside of the envelope. Bid forms can be obtained at the Franklin Township Municipal Building, by email, or by mail. Franklin Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids. FB Modifiied in Place - 2 Lifts scratch & level at 4" compacted depth / 400 lbs, per sq. yd. Rental of Triaxle Dump Truck per hour Crooked Creek Road (T-310) FB Modified in place. Work to be completed in 2 lifts to 4" total compacted depth I 400 lbs per sq. yd. Driveway transitions to 3', tack coat, sealing of joints and driveways are all incidental to paving. Township to supply aggregate and loader. Township to close Crooked Creek Road during placement.
