Demolition and site work for an educational facility in Rio Linda, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The Project includes but is not limited to the complete demolition and removal of eight (8) portable classrooms located on Vineland Preschool campus. The work includes disconnection and removal of all utilities (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and data systems), demolition of structures, and site restoration. All work shall be completed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards. Project Estimate: $140,000 QUESTIONS CONCERNING BID DOCUMENTS: Any questions pertaining to the bid documents are to be directed via e-mail only to Brittany Smith, Director of Contract Services & Risk Management Department, at brittany.smith@trusd.net. Questions must be received at least seven working days prior to the date the bid is due. Questions received after this time will NOT be addressed. Requests for Information (RFIs) pertaining to the contract documents, specifications, or drawings must be submitted separately per the process outlined in item No. 4 below. Any questions relative to the bid shall be in writing and directed to Adam Dreuth at adam.dreuth@trusd.net All forms must be completed, signed, and returned with the bid. No bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date set for the receipt of bids. The successful bidder shall file a payment bond issued by an admitted Surety authorized to conduct business in the State of California approved by the District. A performance bond will also be required. The successful bidder and all subcontractor(s) shall comply with all applicable Labor Code provisions, which include, but are not limited to, the payment of not less than the required prevailing rates to all workers employed by them in the execution of the Contract, the employment of apprentices, the hours of labor and the debarment of contractors and subcontractors. Each Bidder submitting a bid must be a Department of Industrial Relations registered contractor pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 ("DIR Registered Contractor") unless an exception expressly provided in the Labor Code applies. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. If awarded the Contract, at all times during performance of the work, the Bidder and all Subcontractors of any tier shall be DIR Registered Contractors and continue to comply with all DIR requirements. Disabled Veteran Contractors are encouraged to submit bids. This bid is subject to Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise requirements. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and shall be licensed in the following classifications: C-21. No bid will be accepted from a contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with the California Business and Profession Code at the time the bid is submitted. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept or reject any one or more items of a bid, or to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding process Substantial Completion 7/31/25 Start Date: Construction 6/7/25 Contract Completion (Closeout) 9/30/25 Question deadline - 11 April 2025
