Site work and paving for a road / highway in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Overlay Asphaltic Pavement on Akron Avenue from 14th Avenue to County Hwy Z in the Town of Rome Scope of Work: The work under this contractshall consist of asphaltic pavement wedge to correct crossslope and low areas then a full width, 1.5-inch asphaltic pavement overlay and approximately 270 feet of asphalt berm on both sides of the road, placing 2 feetshoulders with .75- inch CABC. Pavement width will be same as existing. All work and material shall be done by Wisconsin DOT Standards. Contractor isresponsible for traffic control. Project Limits are from 14 th Avenue to County Hwy Z. Town of Rome will be contracting with Quest Civil Engineers to perform testing and quantity verification. 2. Hot Mix Asphaltic Pavement: The hot mix shall be Wisconsin DOT approved 4 LT 5828S Mix design or LT 5828S-WMA. Mix will be placed with a paver and rolled for compaction. Mix will be placed at a compacted thickness of 1.5- inches. Each gravel driveway shall have a minimum 18" asphalt apron and paved driveways will be cut or milled back to provide a smooth transition. All side roads will be cut or milled back 25 feet and blended into new grade. The Town of Rome reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in bidding and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Town of Rome.
