Site work and paving for a road / highway in Nekoosa, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Rome, Adams County Wisconsin will accept sealed bids to Replace Asphaltic Pavement on Akron Avenue from Hwy 13 to 14th Avenue in the Town of Rome. The envelope in which the bid is sealed shall bear the name and address of the bidder and the notation "Akron Avenue Hwy 13 to 14th Avenue." Call 715-325-8017 with any questions. The Town of Rome reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in bidding and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Town of Rome. The work under this contractshall consist of pulverizing existing pavement, add 4 inches of 1.25-inch of CABC, fine grading, pave 2.5 inches of hot mix asphalt, and placing 2 feet shoulders with .75-inch CABC. Pavement width will be same as existing 22 feet. All work and material shall be done by Wisconsin DOT Standards. Contractor isresponsible for traffic control. The town reserves the right to remove 1.25-inch gravel item if existing gravel thicknessis surfactant. Project Limits are from STH 13 to 14 th Ave Town of Rome will be contracting with Quest Civil Engineers to perform testing and quantity verification.
