Site work and paving for a road / highway in Friendship, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work under this contract shall consist of a full width corrective wedging of hot mix asphalt at a thickness of at least an average of 1.25" inches after compaction and a width of approximately 10+/- feet on the outside edges of both lanes of traffic of 14th Ave. In addition, providing an overlay of an average of at least 2" compacted asphalt to the wedged surfaces. Also required is the placing of 2 foot shoulders with 3/4 inch CABC rolled and compacted. The area will be swept, and a tack coat applied prior to wedge. Full width corrective wedge, with overlay. Wedge pave both outside edges/lanes of roadway meeting in the center to equal a full wedge. Apply an overlay matt over the wedged areas for the full length (approximately 2,575x20). Address: 14th Ave from Dyke Dr. south to the Qunicy Town line. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Town of Adams Highway Crew Director, Dick Buhalog, at the Town Hall. The envelope should clearly display the project number on the front and be addressed to The Town of Adams Chair. Full width WEDGE and matt overlay. A full wedge on both outside edges/lanes of roadway meeting in the center to equal a full wedge with a 2 in. matt over the wedged areas. Address: 14th Ave from Dyke Dr. south to the Quincy Town line.
