The initial term of this Agreement shall be in effect April 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025, at which time the PPRTA and the County shall have the option to continue the Agreement for three (3) additional one-year terms under the same terms and conditions of the original Agreement upon approval of annual appropriation each year of the contract. Continuation of the Agreement beyond the initial period is a PPRTA and County prerogative and not a right of the Consultant and will be exercised only when such continuation is clearly in the best interest of PPRTA and the County.
