Reference Number 0000380634 Purchase Type: Duration: 1 year Option: (4) 1-year options The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) is a residential academic and research institution in Colorado Springs, Colorado, known for its collaborative partnerships with corporations and federal agencies. UCCS provides cutting-edge education in areas such as cybersecurity, business, theater, and nursing outreach programs. With an enrollment of over 11,300 students, UCCS offers more than 142-degree programs across six schools and colleges. UCCS is seeking proposals from a qualified janitorial supplier to establish an agreement for providing comprehensive cleaning services for three (3) student residence villages, encompassing 15 residence halls on campus. The residence halls feature a variety of room layout types totaling a cleable square footage of approximately 396,552 sq. ft. Services are required for approximately a four (4) to 4 1/2 week period after student residents have moved out, commencing on May 19th, 2025, and extend approximately until or around June 16th - June 18th, 2025, and then again approximately from August 1, 2025 - August 15, 2025, prior to student residents returning to campus. The campus is closed on Monday, May 26th in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. The successful Contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, consumables and specified materials necessary to fulfill this request for janitorial services at UCCS. UCCS will not be responsible for any of the above-mentioned items. The supplier shall be supportive of and agree to short notice changes based upon conferencing schedule(s) and needs. Completing the three (3) residence villages within a short timeframe requires the efficient allocation of labor and resources to meet project deadlines and conferencing schedules.
