Construction Manager at Risk for Elementary School Rebuild PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS - Work closely with the project architect, and District personnel for design support and possible construction of an energy efficient and environmentally friendly school. The following scope of work for this project is subject to change: Indian Bend Elementary School serves students in preschool to 6th grade. The District is issuing this CMAR for the purpose of rebuilding the existing Indian Bend Elementary School campus, located at 3633 E. Thunderbird Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85032. Indian Bend is a K-6 elementary school originally constructed in 1972. The four school buildings are approximately 76,000 square feet and currently serve 550 students. The school serves a diverse population and qualifies for Title I funding. The school thrives academically and earned a grade of B from the Department of Education. We look forward to opening a school that inspires and serves this established and thriving community by the summer of 2026. Questions Due by March 24, 2025 PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND: This solicitation is for a construction project that is expected to exceed $100,000. A performance bond in an amount equal to the full contract amount conditioned on the faithful performance of the contract in accordance with plans, specifications and conditions thereof. Such bond shall be solely for the protection of the District. A payment bond in an amount equal to the full contract amount solely for the protection of claimants supplying labor or materials to the contractor or his subcontractors in the prosecution of the work provided for in the awarded contract.
