Site work for a road / highway in Stony Plain, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Town of Stony Plain is seeking a contractor to fulfill the requirements for the 2025 Road Marking Program including lines, arrows, crosswalks, stop blocks, railways crossings, and a pride crosswalk. The contractor shall furnish all labour, equipment, vehicles, tools, signs, materials, traffic control, and supervision necessary for the completion of the work according to the specifications. The work shall include site preparations and installing pavement markings on asphaltic concrete pavement. The contractor is to ensure workers are properly skilled and adequately protected with the proper PPE for product handling and street work. It is desired to have the first line marking application to be started by June 1, 2025, with the second application to start by September 1, 2025, and be completed no later than September 15, 2025. Crosswalks and stop line painting is to be complete as soon as reasonably practicable as detailed in the contractor's proposal. The pride crosswalk must be completed by June 1, 2025. Owner requires that all interested parties sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in order to access the plans and specs for this project.
