The Town of Stony Plain is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to satisfy the Town's needs to update the Sanitary Master Plan. The study objectives for the 2025 Sanitary Master Plan Update are: o Assessment of the current state and effectiveness of the sanitary sewer system. o Analyze the Town's growth projections and future land use scenarios in consultation with the Planning Department staff. o Verify general sanitary design assumptions including wastewater per capita generation and inflow/infiltration rates, and identify trends based on water conservation and other environmental sustainability initiatives. o Identify system deficiencies, provide value analysis to ensure cost effective recommendations for system maintenance and improvements to existing wastewater collection system. o Guide expansion or upgrades to the current wastewater collection system to serve future growth. o Provide a review of current funding available (including grants) for the wastewater collection system program and define possible funding options. o Develop a priority list of capital projects including high level estimated cost and a schedule for implementation in short term, medium term and long term. The term of agreement is to be in effect until the completion of the Deliverables, which is expected to be completed within a period of one (1) year.
