The intent of this Tender is to obtain a formal offer to construct and complete the 2025 Transportation Safety Improvement Program - Surface Improvements & Other Work herein referred to as the Work in the Town of Stony Plain. The Work planned to improve enhance pedestrian and vehicle safety at selected intersections in the Town of Stony Plain will involve the following: 1. Installing concrete islands of various sizes and shapes formed and affixed to the existing asphalt cement pavement. 2. Installing concrete islands, curbs, and aprons of various sizes and shapes. 3. Adjusting existing concrete monolithic sidewalks allowing for new wheelchair ramps. 4. Installing new asphalt paved multi-use path. 5. Removing existing paint markings and installing new paint markings. 6. Supply and installing of various vehicle traffic signage. 7. Supply and installing of flexible plastic delineators posts. 8. Supply and installing new durable painted pedestrian crossing barrier lines. 9. Installing rapid rectangular flashing crosswalk flashing beacons, signage, and solar panels. Cancelled.
