Site work for a water / sewer project in Middle City West, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Maintenance dredging of the Delaware River main navigation channel from Philadelphia to the sea and Wilmington Harbor, including the Christina River, to restore and maintain authorized channel depths. The work consists of dredging approximately 2.5 million cubic yards of sediment from the Delaware River between Stations 0+000 and 515+000 and approximately 350,000 cubic yards from Wilmington Harbor. Dredging methods include hydraulic cutterhead dredging south of Station 190+000 and either mechanical or hydraulic cutterhead dredging north of Station 190+000. Dredged material will be placed in the Pedricktown, Delaware City, and/or Killcohook disposal areas. All dredging shall be performed as contour dredging to the required depths with an allowable overdepth of one or two feet. Before- and after-dredging surveys for measurement will be performed by the Government. The period of performance is 240 calendar days. Location: Delaware River from Philadelphia, PA to the Atlantic Ocean, and Wilmington Harbor, Christina River, Wilmington, DE The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
