Q&A Deadline 03/13/2025 1:00 PM (PDT) Online Q&A Yes Response Format Electronic The City of Ontario is soliciting requests for proposals from qualified firms to provide emergency on-call board-ups, and vacant lot abatement as requested by the Community Improvement Department. The Consultant will be required to arrive at the location provided within a timely manner, as deemed by the City's standards, and shall have all supplies required on-hand to begin abatement immediately upon arrival at the property. The Consultant shall provide landscaping and light general maintenance services, which shall include, but not limited to: Board-up of vacant dangerous building according to adopted City of Ontario requirements (similar to HUD standards) Resecuring of buildings after intrusions and/or other activities (removal and replacement of locks, etc) Debris clean-up of vandalized or fire damaged structures Abatement/removal of graffiti (paint to match) Weed abatement and trash removal Fence repair or replacement (all types) Removal of equipment, furniture or other types of household goods and private property from illegal storage locations Maintenance or removal of landscape to include large shrubs and tree trimming Miscellaneous clean-up (removal of illegal non-hazardous pumps), repair, painting, light handyman tasks, and hauling Installations and/or inspection of irrigation systems, meters, timing devices, etc. Installation and/or inspections of plant material, trees, shrubs, turf, or other types of vegetation, or ground cover Sign installation or removal Drainage of stagnant swimming pools The award of this contract is subject to available budget adequate to carry out the provisions of the proposed agreement including the identified scope of services. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals determined not to be in the best interest of the City. Start/Delivery Date July 1, 2025 Project Duration An initial three (3) year contract, with an option solely at the City's discretion, for two (2) one (1) year contract extensions
