Provide environmental monitoring and support services as required by project permits, during the construction phase of the Project. Q&A Deadline 03/27/2025 5:00 PM (PDT) Project Duration 90 working day The Project aims to enhance the resiliency and efficiency of the Laguna Channel Pump Station (Pump Station), ultimately extending its useful life. The Pump Station is located on the ocean side of Cabrillo Boulevard at 236 East Cabrillo Boulevard near the Laguna Channel terminus. It is critical City infrastructure that minimizes the impact of flooding in the low-lying neighborhoods between Laguna and Milpas Streets. The Project has received the following regulatory environmental permits or authorizations (Attachment 2): o California Regional Water Quality Control Board (Central Coast) Section 401 Water Quality Certification, 34221WQ09 o California Coastal Commission, Coastal Development Permit (CDP) Waiver 4-21- 0703-W o California Department of Fish and Wildlife SAA, EPIMS-SBA-38056-R5 o U.S. Department of the Army Section 404 Nationwide Permit, SPL-2015-00077-TS Construction of the Project is anticipated to start Summer 2025 with limited activity and resume in Summer 2026. The construction contract is for 90 working days. Please refer to copies of the plans (Attachment 3). Note, the City is applying for an extension of the permit windows since currently the overlapping work window restrictions only allow for work to occur in one month.
