Renovation of a power facility in Spencer, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
The work consists of furnishing materials and replacement of a portion of the roof of the Utilities' building at 520 2nd Ave East in Spencer, Iowa. Work under the proposed Contract shall be commenced upon receipt of the signed Contract and shall be Substantially Completed by an anticipated date of September 2025. This Project is not exempt from Iowa Sales Tax. Davis Bacon Wages will not apply to this project. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America. The SMU Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, re-advertise for new bids, and to waive informalities that may be in the best interest of the Board. Question Deadline 03/27/2025 at 10:00 AM CT Questions regarding the project bidding must be submitted to CMBA Architects.
