Flooring Replacement for Zoning, Permits at 31-30 Fort, and Planning and Land Use at 15-30 Fort The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of removal and disposal of existing flooring, preparation of existing sub-floor, supply and installation of new flooring and coordination of moving existing furniture to suit flooring installation. If the Contract Price exceeds twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), the Contractor shall provide and maintain contract security until the expiration of the warranty period in the form of: (a) a performance bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price; and (b) labour and material payment bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price. (c) an irrevocable standby letter of credit issued by a bank or other financial institution registered to conduct business in Manitoba and drawn on a branch located in Winnipeg, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price; or Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform. Award is subject to final approval.
