As of May 16, 2025, the project was awarded to John G. Membrino, R J Electric, and Gordon H Baver Inc with an awarded amount of $1,563,012 Asbestos abatement project located at Upper Perkiomen High School. The work will be conducted under (3) multi-prime contracts, general, plumbing, and electrical construction. General Construction consists of asbestos abatement, selective demolition, fireproofing, room finishes, and installation of millwork / finish carpentry. As well as all other work indicated under the General Construction contract. Plumbing Construction consists of for selective demolition of piping / accessories, installation of domestic water / accessories, installation of sanitary / accessories, installation of natural gas piping / accessories, installation of new sinks / drains, installation of fume hoods, installation of piping insulation including those affected by abatement, and all plumbing connections to equipment. As well as all other work indicated in the Plumbing Construction contract. Electrical construction consists of selective electrical demolition, installation of new conduit, installation of new electrical outlets / ceiling fixtures, electrical connections to fume hoods, and electrical connections to equipment. As well as all other work indicated in the Electrical Construction contract. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply.
