Furnishing of All Labor And Materials and All Else Necessary for the Supply of Cellular Ami Water Metering Systems All in Accordance With the Specifications Thereof on File and of Record in the Office of the City Utilities Manager in and for the City of Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Description of Project: the Work Consists of but is Not Limited to: 1. The Supply of Up to 1,030 Mechanical Water Meters Varying in Size From 5/8-inch to 1-1/2-inch. 2. The Supply of Up to 441 Electronic Water Meters Varying in Size From 2-inch to 6-inch. 3. The Supply of Up to 1,030 Meter Encoders. 4. The Supply of Up to 1,500 Cellular Endpoints. 5. The Supply of Any Other Digital or Mechanical Equipment or InfraStructure Necessary to Make the New Meters Operational in the City. 6. Monthly Cellular Communication Service for Each Water Meter. 7. Gaskets, Hardware, and Any Other Supplies Necessary to Install Each Meter in Its Previously Set Location. Each Bid Submitted Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond Naming the City of Eden Prairie as Oblige, or a Certified Check Payable to the City Clerk, City of Eden Prairie in an Amount Equal to Five (5) Percent of the Total Amount of the Bid, Which Shall Be Forfeited to the City in the Event That the Bidder Fails to Enter Into a Contract. The City Reserves the Right To Retain Said Bid Bonds or Certified Checks of the Three (3) Lowest Bidders Until the Contract Has Been Awarded and Executed, but Not Longer Than 60 Days From the Date of Opening Bids. No Bid May Be Withdrawn Within 60 Days From the Date of Bid-opening. The City Council Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Sealed Bids, to Waive Any Irregularities and Informalities Therein and Further Reserves the Right to Award the Contract in the Best Interest of the City.
