Removal of Old Amr Water Meters and Reinstallation Of New Commercial Ami Water Metering Systems Eden Prairie Project 157060-b Phase 2 Furnishing of All Labor And Materials for the Removal of Old Amr Water Meters and Reinstallation of New Residential Ami Water Metering Systems All in Accordance With the Specifications Thereof on File and Of Record in the Office of the City Utilities Manager in and for the City Of Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Description of Project: the Work Consists of but is Not Limited to: 1. Direct Mailing Appointment Notification Letters to Water Customers And Scheduling Appointments for Each Meter Replacement. 2. Replacement of Approximately 1,470 Water Meters at Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional Addresses, Including Apartment Buildings And Irrigation Systems. 3. Maintaining a Call Center to Manage Incoming Customer Calls and Perform Telephonic Outreach. 4. Maintaining a Local Office and Warehouse Facility to Store and Safeguard the Water Meters for the Project. 5. Providing Cross-connection Control Management of Backflow Prevention Devices Installed at Each Address Within the Project List. 6. Documenting Grease Trap Maintenance at Properties With Commercial Kitchens. Each Bid Submitted Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond Naming the City of Eden Prairie as Oblige, or a Certified Check Payable to the City Clerk, City of Eden Prairie in an Amount Equal to Five (5) Percent of the Total Amount of the Bid, Which Shall Be Forfeited to the City in the Event That the Bidder Fails to Enter Into a Contract. The City Reserves the Right To Retain Said Bid Bonds or Certified Checks of the Three (3) Lowest Bidders Until the Contract Has Been Awarded and Executed, but Not Longer Than 60 Days From the Date of Opening Bids. No Bid May Be Withdrawn Within 60 Days From the Date of Bid-opening. The City Council Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Sealed Bids, to Waive Any Irregularities and Informalities Therein and Further Reserves the Right to Award the Contract in the Best Interest of the City.
