Site work and paving for a road / highway in Marinette, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bituminous Surface Construction Chip Seal Coat and Spray Patching. A single prime bid will be received for the work. Estimated amounts of construction items are as follows: 16,000 sq. yds. Bituminous Chip Seal Coat. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bid and bid security may not be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the Bid Deadline. Bid security will be retained if the Bidder is awarded the Work and fails to execute the Agreement and furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. Bidders shall pre-qualify by submitting a Bidder's Proof of Responsibility to the Owner five days prior to the Bid Deadline in accordance with Wis. Stat. 66.29(2). The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in any bid, and/or to accept a bid most advantageous to the City, without further explanation.
