Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hancock, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Town of Colburn, Chippewa County is accepting bids for pulverizing, compacting, final grading, and paving approximately (1) mile that includes: 360th St. at dead end to the South (.8) mile. Far North section does not require pulverizing. 156th Ave at 360th to end (.13) 157th Ave at 360th to end (.08) Work to be provided consists of pulverizing, compacting, final grading, and paving with 2" X 20' compacted hot mix asphalt with two-foot gravel shoulder. Pulverize to a depth of 5". Pulverizing operations shall consist of grading by the town and compaction by contractor with a vibratory roller to ensure proper compaction. Hot mix shall conform to Section 460 of the WI-DOT Standard Specifications (except SS 460.2.8 and SS 460.3.3) and shall be designed to 4.0 % air void. Asphalt provided shall follow mix design requirements of 4 LT 58-28 S. of the WI-DOT Standard Specifications. The Town of Colburn reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof and to accept a bid proposal or portion of a bid proposal as deemed most advantageous to the town.
