A More Detailed Scope of Work, Project Description, and Contract Documents for Bidding Purposes May Be Obtained From Benton Township as Mentioned Above. Addenda, if Any, Will Be Issued Only to Those Contractors Whose Name and Email or Fax Number Are on Record as Having Obtained These Documents. A Certified Check or Bank Draft, Payable to Benton Township, or Bid Bond in the Amount of 10% of the Total Bid Amount Shall Be Submitted With Each Bid as a Guarantee That if the Proposal is Accepted and Awarded, a Contract Shall Be Entered Into. The Successful Bidder Must Furnish 100% Performance, Labor and Materials Bonds Along With the Proper Insurance, Permits, and Filing of No-lien Agreement, Before Being Awarded the Contract. Benton Township Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, to Re-advertise or to Waive Any Informalities in the Bidding. Bids May Be Held by Benton Township for a Period Not-to-exceed Sixty (60) Days From the Date of Opening of the Bids for the Purpose of Reviewing the Bids and Investigating the Qualifications of the Bidders, Prior to Awarding the Contract. Bid Proposal Documents Shall Be Enclosed in an Envelope (Outer and Inner) Both of Which Shall Be Sealed and Clearly Labeled Proposal for Benton Township 2025 Demolition Project. The Bidder Shall Be Responsible for the Placement of the Firms Name on the Outside of the Bid Envelopes.
