Site work and paving for a civil project in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The project will restore the natural headwater wetland by creating a series of shallow "wet cells" along the existing ditch to promote infiltration, raise the groundwater elevation, and improve the wetland hydroperiod, located in the Cougar Creek sub-watershed of the Salmon Creek watershed. Work to be performed includes clearing and grubbing, excavation, grading, stormwater facilities, sanitary sewer installation, plantings and other work. Primary Bid Items: Mobilization, Ductile Iron Culvert Pipe, 72-inch Diam Manholes Type III with Baffles, Gate Valves, Topsoil Type B (Hydric and Upland soil), Seeding, Plantings, C900 PVC Sanitary Sewer Pipe, D3034 PVC Sanitary Sewer Pipe and Temporary Dewatering System. Questions and requests for clarification must be submitted using the electronically. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or proposal bond in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid. The County reserves the right to waive informalities in the bidding, reject any or all bids, or cancel the bid if the best interests of Clark County are not served.
