Heritage Park Playground Design, Procure, and Install Playground Equipment, Boarder and Safety Surface Material. The City of Stanwood is seeking proposals from qualified playground equipment manufacturers and/or vendors to design, procure and install a comprehensive play system at Heritage Park. The City is seeking play equipment with engaging features suitable for all age ranges that will encourage physical activity, enhance motor skills, and engage the community. Equipment design must meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and meet or exceed all federal and state guidelines. Equipment must conform to the playground-related American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) and U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission standards. Vendors are invited to submit proposals with playground equipment to align with the specific site and budget. Vendors are encouraged to submit no less than two and up to three playground equipment and site design options for initial consideration. The City will choose up to 4 finalists from the proposals received to provide a presentation and interview with the City. Of the 4 finalists the City plans to select one proposal to move forward to develop a final design and specification package.
