Question Deadline 05/01/2025 at 2:00 PM PT City of Stanwood Sealed bids will be received by the Public Works Director at Stanwood City Hall, 10220 270th Street NW, Stanwood, Washington 98292, and will then and there be opened and publicly read at that time Bids shall be addressed to the Public Works Director, City of Stanwood, 10220 270th St NW, Stanwood, Washington 98292. The time of completion (performance period) for this Project is 40 working days. All bids shall be submitted on the prescribed Bid Forms and in the manner as stated in this advertisement and in the Project Manual and said bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond to the City of Stanwood in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. If a surety bond is used, said bond shall be issued by a surety authorized and registered to issue said bonds in the State of Washington. The bond shall specify the surety's name, address, contact and phone number, and shall include a power of attorney appointing the signatory of the bond as the person authorized to execute it. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into the Contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the Information for Bidders, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Stanwood. Faxed bids and/or surety bonds will not be accepted. The City of Stanwood in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
