Replacement of Exterior Doors at Junior and Senior High School The Ferndale Area School District is accepting sealed bids for the replacement of exterior doors at the Junior/Senior High School. The Deadline for question submissions will be The Board of School Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The intent of this BID is to secure a single contractor to perform a turnkey door and door hardware installation at the Ferndale Junior/Senior High Schools. All doors should be replaced with doors of the same size as the existing doors. Attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting is recommended to verify door sizes. The required timeframe for this work to be completed is between June 9, 2025 - August 17, 2025. Refer to Schedule A for details on locations, doors and related hardware. After removal the existing doors are to be placed in the parking lot in an orderly fashion for disposal by the District. Doors must be color-matched or similar finish to the current doors. This color must be approved by the owner. All buildings must remain secure during this project. Exclusions: Existing cores must be removed and given to owner. The District will perform the final connections and programming for the card access system.
