Work to be completed as part of the Project shall include all materials, equipment, supplies, permits, approvals, and labor necessary for the following items: Base Bid: Remove approximately 2,852SF of existing asphalt apron and sub-base. Install approximately 71CY of reinforced concrete apron. Install 3 concrete inlet boxes and associated piping to make connection to existing storm. The awarded contractor is responsible for preparing a proposal for the necessary work for review and approval by the City prior to submitting the plans to review agencies. Alternate 1: Install concrete frost walls around perimeter of new concrete apron. All work on this project shall conform to applicable codes and standards governing the various items of work and shall represent sound construction methods and materials in accordance with industry standards. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any material or construction method proposed for the project. Bidders must obtain the project documents to be eligible to submit a bid for this project. The Contractor shall have sufficient Liability Insurance to complete the proposed project and shall be licensed with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Additional requirements are included in the project documents. The contractor is not required to submit a bid for Alternate 1. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
