Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Pequannock Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a 1,680-square-foot water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

All Proposals not received on time will be returned unopened to the bidder. In general, Work consists of constructing a new PFAS treatment facility for Wells 1 and 2 which will including the following: construction of a new approximately 48' x 35' building and associated appurtenances, furnishing and installing PFAS treatment vessels, furnishing and installing interior process piping, furnishing and install chlorination system, furnishing and constructing replacement sanitary sewer lateral, furnishing and installing of exterior standby generator, and furnishing, furnishing and constructing underground yard piping, and construction of replacement driveway and fence. Each Proposal will be made upon the prescribed forms furnished with the Specifications, and will be accompanied by a Bidder's Certified or Cashier's Check drawn on a solvent bank, in the sum of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, but in no case in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00), or in lieu of a Certified or Cashier's Check, a Bid Bond in the same amount prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached hereto, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a Surety Company approved by the Township of Pequannock. Such checks or Bid Bonds will be made payable to the Township of Pequannock, and will be by it held as a guaranty that in the event the bid is accepted and a Contract awarded to the Bidder, the Contract will be duly executed, and its performance properly secured, and in default thereof, said check or Bid Bond and the amount represented thereby will be retained by the aforesaid Township of Pequannock as liquidated damages. The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond acceptable to the Township of Pequannock, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract, in conformity with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The goal of 10 percent applies to the total amount of all contracts for building, materials and equipment, or services (including planning, design and building related activities) for a construction project. The project sponsor has identified that the SED utilization goal for this project is 10 percent. The right is hereby reserved to reject any and all bids or any part thereof or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities and to accept any bid or bids if deemed in the best interest of the Township of Pequannock to do so.
