Removal and replacement of concrete pavement, sidewalks, and curbs on various roads in Bath, Copley, Sagamore, Springfield and Twinsburg Townships. Completion Date: September 30, 2025. Question Deadline 03/24/2025 at 12:00 PM ET All questions are to be submitted through online The County reserves the right to reject all bids. 1) Bath Township. - Saw cut as needed, remove concrete slabs as determined by the engineer, excavate sub-grade and backfill with Item 304 as needed, pour new concrete slabs and other incidental work to complete the pavement repairs. Sidewalk replacement is also included in this scope of work. Traffic maintenance will be the contractor's responsibility during this work. 2) Copley Township - Saw cut as needed, remove concrete slabs as determined by the engineer, excavate sub-grade and backfill with Item 304 as needed, pour new concrete slabs and other incidental work to complete the pavement repairs. Traffic maintenance will be the contractor's responsibility during this work. 3) Sagamore Hills Township - Saw cut as needed, remove concrete slabs as determined by the engineer, excavate sub-grade and backfill with Item 304 as needed, pour new concrete slabs and other incidental work to complete the pavement repairs. Traffic maintenance will be the contractor's responsibility during this work. 4) Springfield Township - Saw cut as needed, remove concrete slabs as determined by the engineer, excavate sub-grade and backfill with Item 304 as needed, pour new concrete slabs and other incidental work to complete the pavement repairs. Traffic maintenance will be the contractor's responsibility during this work. 5) Twinsburg Township - Prepare and perform miscellaneous repairs as listed in the Plans and Details. Saw cut as needed, remove concrete slabs, curb or sidewalk as determined by the engineer, excavate sub-grade and backfill with Item 304 as needed, pour new curb and gutters, curb ramps, sidewalk and other incidental work to complete the pavement repairs. All repair costs shall include removal of existing item and patching of surroundings as need to perform these repairs. The cost of new curbs will be included in Item 255 Rigid Pavement Removal and Replacement. Cost for topsoil, seeding , and mulching will be included in bid items 255 and 608. Traffic maintenance will be the contractor's responsibility during this work. 6) For work on township and village roads, the township or village in which work is being performed under this contract shall be a third-party beneficiary of this contract and shall have direct recourse against the contractor should a dispute arise as to the work done in that township or village on its roads. 7) Payment requests shall be submitted to the Engineer as provided in section 22 of the General Provisions, but payment for work on township and village roads shall be made to the contractor by the respective township and village, directly, upon approval of invoices by the Engineer.
