Renovation of an educational facility in Stratford, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project involves the removal of the existing roof and Durisol roof deck over classrooms 125 and 126 and installing a new metal deck complete with new 2-ply modified bitumen asphalt free roofing system. The scope of work will include protection of the interior classroom for the duration of construction. It also includes finish painting of the underside of the new deck. The scope of work also includes exposing the Durisol deck for review by a structural engineer in classroom 108. This includes removal of the panel tiles at the ceiling and at the perimeter of the classroom walls (abutting the ceiling). This classroom will see a new perimeter finish at the walls of gypsum board where the panels are removed to finish, which will be painted. The exposed durisol deck will be painted to finish, and any new steel to reinforce at the existing roof drain is to be painted. Classroom 110A will also require the supply and installation of new reinforcing steel at the roof drain. This is to be painted to match the ceiling. Bid Bond amount of $31,000.00 (Thirty-One Thousand Dollars) is required to accompany tender. Successful bidder will be required to provide 50% Performance Bond and 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond.
