The Work to be constructed hereunder is located at the St. Ubaldo Society Chapel,310 Third Avenue within the Borough of Jessup, Lackawanna County, PA. Estimated Notice to Proceed date is June 2, 2025. The Work includes exterior building and site improvements to the St. Ubaldo Society Chapel including preparation and painting of the aluminum siding and soffit on the entire exterior (or alternate bid for installation of new vinyl siding, soffit to remain in place and be painted), installation of Eldorado stone veneer on the front of the entrance, painting of the front porch canopy ceiling, stone moulding around the entrance door and stained glass windows, epoxy coating of the concrete front entrance pad and steps, sealing of all cracks in the concrete entrance pad and steps, removal and replacement of the existing railing with new railing on both sides of the front stairs and porch front and sides to the building, workmanship and all appurtenances for a complete job and in accordance with the Contract Documents and manufacturer's recommendations To request an electronic copy, please email: meganb@petersconsul tants.com. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this project Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, negotiable U. S. Government Bonds (at par value) or approved Bid Bond in the amount of 10 percent of the total Bid Price, payable to the Borough of Jessup, as a guarantee that the Bidder, if its Bid is accepted, shall promptly obtain the required bonds and insurance and shall prepare the required submittal documents and execute the Agreement. All Bids shall remain irrevocable for a period of 60 calendar days from the date of Bid opening or as allowed by law. The successful Bidder will be required to post a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of the Bid price. Bids shall be submitted upon forms furnished by the Borough of Jessup. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this project.
