**As of June 13, 2025, the project was awarded to E & B Paving, with an awarded amount of $2,394,611.82.** The work shall consist of removal of failed asphalt, patching with full depth HMA, milling, sweep- ing, application oftack coat, HMA wedging, installation of paving geotextile, installation of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) pavement surface,restoration of pavement markings, installation of snow plowable raised pavement markers, and all other worknecessary to repair existing pavement as included in the Construction Schedule and Specifications for the 2025-1CCMG PAVING PROJECT contract documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by acashier's or certified check, drawn on an acceptable bank, or an accept- able bidder's bond, in an amount not lessthan five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Town of Avon, Indiana.The Bidder (proposer) must supply all information required by the bid proposal form. Liquidated damages for delaywill be as provided in the Bid Proposal.Work hours will be as provided in the technical specifications.Partial payment will be made monthly based on an approved payment requisition.The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulationsincluding Equal Employment Opportunity, E-Verify, Non-segregated Facilities, and Affirmative Action requirements.The Town of Avon, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts there-of and to waive allresponsibility for irregularities in bids. Bids may be held by the Town of Avon, In- diana, for a period of not toexceed 60 days from the date of opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and the investigation ofthe qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. It is anticipated, however, that the contract will beawarded on or before April 10th, 2025. Work must be completed by September 15, 2025.
