Rebuilding water culvert and roadway bridge. Village of Tuxedo Park (the "Village") invites bids and is seeking qualified bidders to provide construction services for improvements to the Tuxedo Park West Lake Road Bridge Replacement Project. The terms "Bidder" and "Proposer" may be used interchangeably and shall have the same meaning and effect. The construction services are intended to be completed and subject to the terms and conditions of this Request for Invitation to Bid Proposals ("RFP") and the contract awarding the RFP. The principal features of the work are described in the RFP. The description is general only and shall not be construed as a complete listing of every item required to complete the work. The Village at its sole discretion has the right to reduce the scope of work for this project. After receipt of a Notice of Award and execution of an Agreement between the Village and the bidder, bidder will start work within five (5) calendar days of the date of a Notice to Proceed and will substantially complete the work within 60 days of receiving the Notice of Award. The Village of Tuxedo Park reserves the right to amend the request for bids based on questions raised at any prebid meeting. Bids shall be made upon the forms provided in accordance with the instruction to bidders. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked: Proposals received after the time stated in the bid due date will not be considered and will be returned to the bidder unopened. The bidder assumes the risk of any delay in the mail or in the handling of the mail by Village employees. The bidder assumes all responsibility for having the proposal deposited on time at the place specified.
