Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Tuxedo Park, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
REPAIR AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION FOR POND NO. 3 DAM The repair work includes filling the voids in the existing rubble masonry spillway abutments with urethane grouting and repointing the deteriorated mortar joints. The replacement work of the bridge includes demolition of the existing bridge, demolition of part of the abutments, preparing a concrete surface over the existing abutment, construction of a new precast plank bridge, roadway pavement and addition of new timber guide and bicycle rails. The work will also include the removal of any existing railing system (concrete posts, pipe rails and stones) located within the project area as indicated on the plans. Minority and Women Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit bids. The Village Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all portions of the proposal, as determined to be in the best interest of the Village. Question Deadline 07/15/2025 Every request for such interpretation should be in writing (typed, not handwritten) addressed to Vincent Kane, PE at kane.vincent@wseinc.com or Eve Mancuso, PE Mancuso.eve@wseinc.com and to be given consideration must be received at least ten working days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Bidders desiring clarification or interpretation of the bid documents shall make a written request at least seven (7) days prior to the closing date for receipt of bids.
