Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bellefontaine, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. Pre-qualification must be in force at the time of the bid, at the time of the award, and through the life of the construction contact. Subcontractors are not subject to the pre-qualification requirement. The bidding contractor must perform no less than 30 percent of the total original contract price. Bids will be furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials. Bids shall be unit price and total price. As specified in Ohio Revised 153.54, a bidder must submit a bid guaranty in the form of either (1) a bond for the full amount of the bid or (2) a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid. The Logan County Commissioners and Ohio Department of Transportation are to be named as obliges. Bidders shall comply with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Bids will be awarded to the lowest and best bidder. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects in the bids.
