Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Delran, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a 11,549-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Addition & Alterations, Department of Public Works The project scope will consist of the following: • Demolition, Expansion, and Reconstruction of the Brick Office area at the front of the Structure. • Removal and Replacement of the Insulated Wall Panels • Removal and Replacement of the Existing Metal Roof Panels Trades Required: • General Construction • Plumbing • Electrical • Mechanical Bids must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check for ten percent(10%) of the total bid amount, but not in excess of $20,000.00 and shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Burlington The original bid guarantee and consent of surety can be submitted by the following methods: Hand Delivery or Courier Services: County of Burlington Department of Finance and Purchasing County Office Building First Floor, Room 104 49 Rancocas Road Mount Holly, NJ 08060-6000 Mail: County of Burlington Department of Finance and Purchasing 49 Rancocas Road Post Office Box 6000 Mount Holly, NJ 08060-6000Pursuant to P.L.1977, c.33, the successful bidder shall furnish and deliver a performance bond in the full amount (100%) of the total contract price within ten (10) days of the date of award. The performance bond must be issued to "The Board of County Commissioners of the County of Burlington" by a surety company authorized to transact business in New Jersey PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND REQUIREMENTS: within ten (10) days of the date of notice of intent to award a contract to the bidder, the bidder must submit a performance bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount to the County of Burlington, via the County's representative. The Performance and Payment Bond must be drawn to the Board of Commissioners of the County of Burlington in an amount equal to the contract amount. It must be provided in substantially the format as found at N.J.S.A. 2A: 44-147, a copy of which is included in the bid specifications. No Performance Payment Bond will be accepted by the Board of Commissioners unless there is attached thereto a Surety Disclosure Statement and Certification in substantially the from provided in Section 00490 of the bid specifications. PREVAILING WAGE RATES; When applicable, the contractor shall pay the latest prevailing wage rates for projects in excess of $2,000.00 as determined by the United State Secretary of Labor and the New Jersey Department of Labor, for the locality in which the work is to be performed pursuant to Chapter 150, Laws of 1963 (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56, 25 et seq.). If the prevailing wage rate prescribed for any craft by the United States Secretary of Labor is not the same as the prevailing wage rate prescribed for that craft by the New Jersey Department of Labor, the contractor shall pay the higher rate. The contractor shall comply with all applicable statutes and regulations regarding the payment of wages and specifically Title 34, Chapter 11, of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey. AFFIRMATIVE ACTION; Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A.10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C.17:27.The County is not responsible for any bid not submitted on time.
