Site work and paving for a civil project in Baldwin, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
In cooperation with the Lake County Road Commission the project includes the removal of three existing culverts at the E. 24th Street crossing over the North Branch of Cole Creek and construction of a new Timber Bridge. The project is located northwest of Baldwin, Michigan east of the intersection of E. 24th Street and S. Broadway Street. The contractor would be responsible for installing and removing temporary cofferdams, installation of timber piles for a timber bridge, construction of abutments and wingwalls for a timber bridge, construction of the proposed stream channel, construction of bridge approach road sections, construction of guardrail, and final slope restoration work. Lake County Road Commission will provide traffic control, removal of existing culverts, earth excavation, structure backfill, and installation of the prefabricated timber bridge.\ Question Deadline 04/04/2025 at 3:00 PM ET All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing via email only to Project Manager, Shane Brennan shane.brennan@spicergroup.com.
