Questions will be addressed if received online at up until 5 PM CDT on April 22, 2025 The Project includes construction of a 64'-8" W x 54' D x 25' H free-standing, one-story, business mercantile space; building shell only; 3,096 SF Gross Area; reinforced concrete grade beam and slab foundation; wood stud wall with brick veneer; associated mechanical, plumbing, and electrical facilities; site grading, paving, drainage and landscaping with irrigation; and ancillary items all as shown in the Construction Plans, Technical Specifications, Project Documents Book, and Bid Forms. The Project location is generally described as the northwest corner of Lake Rd. and SH Business Rt. 78/Main St. in the City of Lavon, TX 75166; Collin County Property ID:2718718. The Contract Construction Period is 275 consecutive calendar days from issuance of Contract Notice-to-Proceed. Bidders are to direct any questions and comments regarding this Project to online. Questions will be addressed if received online up until 5 PM CDT on April 22, 2025. A Final Addendum(s), if required, will be posted online by 5:00 PM CDT on April 25, 2025. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, issued by an acceptable surety, shall be submitted with the bid. A Performance Bond for 100% of the contract price and a Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful Bidder for this Contract within ten (10) days after notification of Contract Award. A 2- year Maintenance Bond for 100% of the contract price shall be required at the satisfactory completion of the Contract. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the Texas Prevailing Wage Rates must be paid on this project. The successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, age or national origin. Lavon Economic Development Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by Lavon Economic Development Corporation for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to a contract action.
