Renovation of an educational facility in Monroe Township, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

For the following Partial Roof System Replacement - Phase II The Bid must contain all required information and documentation, including, without limitation, Bid Security in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the Bid Price, not to exceed Twenty Thousand ($20,000.00) Dollars, and Consent of Surety, each in the form and manner required by the Contract Documents. the Owner may award the Contract inwhole or in part, select any combination of Bids and alternates, may waive any informalities, and may reject any or all Bids. The work generally includes a partial roof system replacement for Applegarth Elementary School including, but not limited to the following Flat Roof Areas (Existing Membrane & Built-Up Roof Systems): - Removal & Replace existing membrane and built-up roof systems in totality extending to the structural deck. - New roofing system shall be a modified-bitumen built-up roofing system as further described elsewhere in the Contract Documents. - An existing window opening on a rising wall will need to be modified in order to accommodate proper roof system base flashing heights. New window system(s) shall be provided at the modified window opening. - This project will occur simultaneously with a mechanical systems upgrade project (through a separate Contract). Careful coordination with the Owner's mechanical contractor is a requirement of this Contract. Coordination will include but not be limited to: Scheduling of crane lifts, dumpster locations, relocation of equipment, site phasing of work areas for demolition and new construction, and the installation of equipment curbs, equipment rails, pipe portals and other equipment supports provided by others. - The bid proposal shall include pricing for three (3) deduct alternates along with the base bid. Contract No. 1: Applegarth Elementary School - Partial Roof Replacement - Phase II. The work generally includes the following: a. The Project includes the following general items of Work: Removal and disposal of the existing roof systems back to the roof decks including all flashings, vapor barriers, insulation, flashings, trim and recovery board. Replacement shall include preparation of existing substrates to receive a new hot/torch applied SBS modified bituminous membrane roof system including vapor barrier, recovery board, insulation, insulation stops, flashing, trim, coping and fascia systems, counter flashing, vents, pipes and curbs along with specified roof surfacings. This is a limited description of Work. See all Contract Documents for balance of Scope and Work. b.
