**As of May 21, 2025, the project was awarded to Discover Construction LLC. with an awarded amount of $1,738,449.70.** Each proposal must be accompanied by a Surety's Consent and a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond at the Bidder'sdiscretion for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, payable to the Township of Monroe, New Jerseyexcept that the amount of the check shall not exceed $20,000. The same Surety shall be bound to furnish Performance Bondsthat hereinafter may be required.The successful Bidder will be required to furnish, within ten (10) days after the award, aSurety's Corporation Performance Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, such Surety Company tobe acceptable to the Township of Monroe and authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. This work is subject tothe provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act.All bidders on this contract for public work will be required to name allsubcontractors at the time the bid is made. At the time of bid opening, contractors shall submit to the public entity theCertificates of Registration and a valid Public Works Contractor Registration for themselves and all subcontractors listed in thebid proposal. No contractor or subcontractor shall engage in the performance of public work subject to this contract unless thecontractor and all subcontractors are registered under the Public Works Contractor Registration Act and hold a valid State ofNew Jersey Business Registration Certificate.
