Site work for a water / sewer project in Carmel, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: Installation of 16" 12" and 8" water main, fire hydrants and valves. For special accommodations needed by handicapped individuals planning to attend the pre-bid conference or public bid opening meeting, please call or notify the city of Carmel, Engineer's Office, at (317) 571-2441 at least forty-eight (48) hours prior thereto. Question Submission Deadline: April 10, 2025, 4:30pm This project entails water main connections and extensions of approximately 1,800 LFT of 8", 2,300 LFT of 12" and 2,100 LFT of 16" size water mains along the Michigan Rd corridor between 96th street and Woodhaven Dr. Areas include connecting to a 12" dead end main in the NW corner of 96th and Michigan Rd a heading west along the north side of 96th for approximately 3,000 within easements and R/W. Between 98th St. and Retail Parkway on the east side of Michigan Road and crossing Michigan Rd. to the west at 99th St. At the northwest corner of Michigan Rd. and Northwestern Dr. connecting the existing 8" mains through an easement. 16" water main crossing Michigan Rd. on the north side of Weston Drive within easements connecting to a 12" and 8" water main. And along the east side of Michigan Rd. connecting a dead end main and heading north to connect to existing main at Woodhaven Drive. The anticipated start date is June 1st and substantial completion December 31st.
