NDOW Mason Valley Fish Hatchery HVAC Replacement In accordance with the Contract Plans and Specifications, the Project consists of the replacement of the HVAC system in an 8,800 square foot building, with an additional 780 square foot mechanical mezzanine. The scope includes removal of the existing evaporative cooling and gas furnace systems and the installation of a new mechanical heating and cooling system to service the office areas and a larger air handler for the shop areas with evaporative cooling. Supporting electrical upgrades are also included. Additionally, all bidders and their proposed subcontractors must hold a valid license of a class corresponding to the work to be done as required by the State of Nevada's Contractor's License Law and possess any applicable business licenses in the local jurisdiction of the work. There will be an opportunity to tour the worksite. All bidders submitting as prime or sub-contractors are highly encouraged to attend. All proposals shall be accompanied by a bid bond amounting to not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid which is payable to said Owner signed by the bidder and include a corporate security, a cashier's, or certified check payable to the order of NDOW (Owner) for the said amount. Said bond shall become payable to Owner or said check shall be forfeited in case the bidder depositing the same does not, within (10) days after written notice that the Contract has been awarded to him/her: (a) enter into a Contract with the Owner, and (b) furnish certificates of insurance, a bond of faithful performance and a payment bond as described in the Contract Documents. The results of bidding will be reported by the Owner within 30 days of the bid opening, at which time the Owner may award the Contract to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder as so reported; however, said Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid or in the bidding for any reason whatsoever.
