The Work to be performed under this Task Order consists of the repair, rehabilitation, or replacement of 11,420 LF (2.16 miles) of defective sewer mains, 2,879 LF (0.54 miles) of defective sewer laterals, and 83 manholes located in the Oxon Run Basin, Prince George's County, Maryland. The Project is MDE SRF Loan funded. The applicable State Insert titled Requirements and Contract Provisions for the Treatment Works Projects Financed through the Maryland Water Quality Loan Fund and the Maryland Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund, Department of the Environment, State of Maryland, and other requirements are incorporated in the contract documents. The bidders should make note of the special additional requirements imposed through the use of this funding such as but not limited to the use of Davis-Bacon Wage Rates, the use of American Iron and Steel (AIS) products, and the submission of AIS material certifications to WSSC Water.
