Site work and paving for a road / highway in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work consists of painting of traffic lines across the town including fog lines, double yellow lines, stop bars, crosswalks and miscellaneous markings. All work is to be completed no later than September 30, 2025. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M as amended. All Bidders shall furnish with their Bid a bid guaranty in the form of a bid bond, cash or a certified check, treasurer's check or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company, in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the bid and made payable to the Town of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts. Performance and Labor and Materials Payment Bonds, in the full amount of the Contract Price, will be required of the Successful Bidder. No Bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days after the date of the opening of bids. Wages are subject to Massachusetts minimum wage rates as per M.G.L. Chapter 149, Section 26 to 270,inclusive. Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids, or to accept any Bid which in its opinion, is in the public interest to do so
